Soraida lives in Tierra Baja, and is a beneficiary of the organic vegetable garden you donated! In her new garden, Soraida cultivates basil, sweet pepper, cucumber and green beans. Soraida lives with her husband who is a freelance salesman, and her tweo sons who attend the local primary school.

Olga lives in Tierra Baja, and is the beneificary of an organic vegetable garden!  Olga lives with her husband and her seven year old daughter. She sells snacks and sweets from her home, and can now grow her own vegetables right in her backyard! She grows basil, eggplant, cucumber, and mint.

Mery lives in Tierra Baja, and is a participant in the Productive Patios project that is dedicated to improving domestic work and complementing it with urban agriculture. In her garden, Mery grows basil, tomatoes and cilantro.

Luz lives in the township of Tierra Baja and is a beneficiary of the Productive Patios project. This project is dedicated to teaching the grooming of nails, and other work that compliments domestic activities and urban agriculture. In her patio, she grows basil, cucumbers, beans, eggplant, spinach and lemons.

In her home, she lives with her husband, a mason, her two year old daughter, and her five year old son. Thanks to your donation, Luz’s brand new vegetable garden provides fresh food her family! She can also sell the surplus in local markets, and therefore bring in extra income. Thank you so much for your generosity; you are truly growing opportunities in her life!

Martha lives in a village in Low Country with her husband, a bricklayer, and her daughter, who is pursuing a high school technical degree in commerce. She is a a member of the Productive Patios project, which is dedicated to urban agriculture.
