Ayala family has received a gardening kit!

Miguel lives in Manzanillo del Mar, a village located a few miles from Cartagena. He is an active member of the project “Patios Productivos” (urban agriculture). He works in a hotel in the city and earns a second income with his vegetable garden.

In his yard he grows chard, celery, cucumber, chilies and tomatoes, while his 2 children study at a high school near their home. His wife takes care of the household chores and helps Miguel take care of the garden that provides the family with nutritious meals and an additional income.
