Mery improves her crops!

Mery lives in Tierra Baja, and is a participant in the Productive Patios project that is dedicated to improving domestic work and complementing it with urban agriculture. In her garden, Mery grows basil, tomatoes and cilantro.

Mery lives at home with her husband who works as a mason, and her three daughters who are all in primary school.

Thanks to your donation, Mery is able to provide fresh vegetables for her whole family. Not only does your donation grow vegetables, it grows opportunities, too–Mery can sell surplus vegetables to her community and create a little more income for her hardworking family.
