Tomasa receives a garden kit!

Tomasa lives in the small coastal village of Manzanillo del Mar, Colombia.  She is a participant in the Patios Productive course that sells trays of fish on the beach and teaches students agricultural urban farming and the process of farming at home.  They currently grow together basil, fresh chili, spinach and mint.

She lives with her husband, whom does various office work, as well as their grandkids that are enrolled in basic school.  Their daughter also lives with them and does various work in different hotels around the village.  The family does not always make enough money to support Tomasa with her love of gardening.
